Decorating Eggs

Dating back to pagan times, eggs have been a symbol of life, rebirth and renewal. Eggs are traditionally decorated for Easter but you can decorate eggs for any occasion. Instead of Easter egg designs, you might like to deck an egg with hearts for your Valentine or paint one with stars and stripes for the 4th of July. You could also turn an egg into a pumpkin for Halloween or a turkey for Thanksgiving. You could even make an egg that looks just like you. Have Mom or Dad read the safety information before you decorate real eggs.
