Composed of government agencies, organizations such as American Egg Board, and other groups, the Partnership works to educate consumers on the proper handling of foods to prevent foodborne illness.

The Be Food Safe and Fight Bac! programs of the Partnership are based on four simple steps:

Clean
Wash hands and surfaces often.

Separate
Don’t cross-contaminate.

Cook
Cook to proper temperatures.
