Breakthrough tool enables farmers to capture and share sustainability data, advancing transparency and trust across the food chain.

CHICAGO (November 19, 2025) – The American Egg Board (AEB) is proud to introduce its new Incredibly Sustainable reporting tool during this week’s Sustainable Ag Summit in Anaheim, Calif., marking a breakthrough in how egg farmers capture and communicate the outcomes of their sustainable efforts. By combining a streamlined survey, a greenhouse gas calculator, and visual impact reports, the tool enables farmers to clearly and efficiently share the results of their sustainability practices with customers and stakeholders, strengthening transparency and demonstrating their ongoing commitment to sustainable agriculture. The Incredibly Sustainable tool is available to egg producers through the AEB’s Incredible Farmer resource hub.

Egg producers are increasingly asked by their customers to provide detailed sustainability information. These requests can be complex, time-consuming, and vary widely across buyers. Incredibly Sustainable addresses this challenge by offering an all-in-one solution: a survey built from the top 40 most-asked customer questions, an embedded Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) calculator aligned with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, and customizable impact reports.

The Incredibly Sustainable tool took more than a year to develop through extensive collaboration with egg producers and leading retail, restaurant, and CPG buyers, incorporating their feedback through multiple rounds of pilots, testing, and refinement to ensure accuracy and usability. Designed for flexibility, the tool can be used by anyone within an egg producer’s organization, most often a sustainability director or an operations manager. Dedicated personnel at the AEB are available to provide support as needed.

In addition to improving accuracy, Incredibly Sustainable was built to simplify the reporting process for farmers. By making sustainability requests easier and more consistent to handle across the industry, the tool helps ease the reporting burden while also opening the door to stronger customer relationships and future business opportunities.

The Incredibly Sustainable tool also complements industry-wide efforts such as the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Poultry & Eggs (US-RSPE) Sustainability Framework by providing a greenhouse gas calculator and additional reporting guidance specific to egg producers. Egg producers who are members of the U.S.-RSPE can voluntarily share their metrics from Incredibly Sustainable with US-RSPE for industry-wide reporting.

As leaders across food and agriculture gather in Anaheim, Calif., for this week’s Sustainable Ag Summit, centered on “Uniting Agriculture for Resilient Outcomes,” the tool offers egg farmers a practical, industry-tailored resource that supports shared goals around resilience, transparency and standardized sustainability measurement.

The Incredibly Sustainable tool will be available through the AEB’s Incredible Farmer hub that provides egg producers with a central destination for farmer-focused tools and resources. With Incredibly Sustainable, the platform now helps farmers turn sustainability practices into clear, credible data that reinforces accountability and industry leadership. The hub also features instructional videos to help producers navigate and apply the sustainability calculator with confidence, further empowering America’s egg farmers to lead with transparency, innovation, and trust.
