American Egg Board Names Dana Lawnzak Director of Food Chain Outreach & International Development
Seasoned foodservice and retail marketing professional leverages extensive culinary experience to cultivate relationships on behalf of the egg industry
(CHICAGO) May 2, 2022 – The American Egg Board recently named Dana Lawnzak Director of Food Chain Outreach & International Development. Reporting to Mike Koenigs, Chief of Operations, Lawnzak will be responsible for building strategic relationships with food companies including retail, foodservice and manufacturers, to better position AEB as a resource and partner. Lawnzak will serve as the main point of contact for food chain and CPG customers to offer egg industry expertise and opportunities for collaboration. In addition, she will oversee customer outreach and engagement, developing AEB’s network of food chain industry contacts and representing AEB at events and conferences.

Lawnzak joins the AEB from Trident Seafoods (Seattle, WA), where she was Senior Director of Marketing. In this role she was responsible for developing and executing annual plans for the 300MM lbs. domestic sales group involving foodservice, national accounts, retail/deli, industrial and club channels. She drove awareness and increased penetration of Wild Alaska Pollock & Surimi Seafood through digital marketing, advertising, promotions, product innovations, events, partnerships, and culinary ideations.
A dynamic sales and marketing expert, Lawnzak’s experience spans coast-to-coast, serving a multitude of brands across the food and beverage sector with more than 25 years at companies including Cholula Food Company, Massimo Zanetti Beverage Corporation, French’s Foods, American Foods and Sara Lee Bakery. Lawnzak holds a BS in Marketing from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from Loyola University (Chicago, IL).
