New American Egg Board Members, Alternates and Executive Committee Officially Begin Terms

(Chicago) March 31, 2025 – At its Spring 2025 meeting, the American Egg Board (AEB) welcomed new members and alternates, sworn in by the USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service. The Board, composed of 36 egg farmers—18 members and 18 alternates—also unanimously approved its newly elected Executive Committee, as presented by the Nominating Committee.

“I am constantly inspired by the unwavering dedication and passion of America’s egg farmers in serving our industry and our nation,” said AEB President and CEO Emily Metz. “The leadership and expertise of our newly appointed and returning board members, along with our newly elected Executive Committee, will play a vital role in advancing AEB’s strategic priorities and securing a strong future for the U.S. egg industry.”

The U.S. Secretary of Agriculture reappointed the following Members and Alternates for another two-year term:
