The egg market is shifting, and AEB’s efforts are a big reason why.

After months of heavy domestic supply, eggs are moving. Export demand is driving real momentum, and the numbers back it up. Total U.S. egg exports are up 25% through the first half of 2026. Exports to Japan are up 78%. And exports to South Korea? Up 745%. Yes, 745%. These are not rounding errors. This is the result of years of deliberate, sustained investment in relationship building in foreign markets, and it is working exactly when farmers need it most.

AEB has spent years laying the groundwork for this moment. We are showing up at more than 10 global trade events in 2026 alone. We are actively connecting producers with more than 20 large international customers across the ASEAN region seeking U.S. shell, liquid and dried egg ingredients. Last month, our presence at THAIFEX 2026 alone generated more than 150 new leads from food manufacturers, retail buyers, foodservice operators and educational institutions across Southeast Asia.

Singapore is a story worth telling all on its own. After more than 20 years, the shell egg market is open again to American product, and AEB made that happen. We are headed back this month with ten producers, standing behind the relationships we built and working to connect new U.S. eggs to even more buyers in the country—proving that when we open a market we’re there to stay.

Every case that leaves this country for South Korea, Japan, Singapore or Mexico is one less case sitting in domestic supply. That math matters to farmers and it matters to the market. It is exactly what AEB’s export development work is built to deliver.

We are also working alongside our partners at USAPEEC to reduce logistical barriers, ensure paperwork meets individual country specifications and help producers navigate the path to export. If you are running into exporting obstacles, reach out. We are here to help you move product with real-time solutions.
