Advertising industry executive brings more than 20 years of marketing experience to increase consumer demand for eggs

CHICAGO (April 9, 2020) — The American Egg Board announced that, effective April 20, Liz Gruszkievicz will lead the AEB’s Consumer Marketing group, with responsibility for advertising creative, media planning and buying, public relations and communications, digital and social media, shopper marketing/retail promotion, consumer research and retail measurement.

An accomplished advertising industry veteran, marketing professional and business partner, Gruszkievicz has 20+ years of experience growing brands, driving results and enabling effective and breakthrough creative.

Gruszkievicz joins the AEB from Energy BBDO (Chicago, IL), where she is currently SVP, Client Service Director, and has led the AEB account for the past three years. Prior to Energy BBDO, she held senior roles at leading agencies, including Digitas, Orci and J. Walter Thompson (now Wunderman Thompson).

Gruszkievicz holds a BA, Psychology and BS, Communications from Boston University. She succeeds the AEB’s VP of Consumer Marketing, Sofia Therios, who is leaving a legacy of marketing excellence after more than three years of dedicated and successful service to the egg industry.
